Whiskey Truffles

Choco Leibniz Whiskey Truffles

Makes about 20 to 26 – 30 Minutes Preparation

6 CHOCO LEIBNIZ Dark biscuits
6 CHOCO LEIBNIZ Milk biscuits
2tbsp chopped mixed nuts
1tbsp butter
1tbsp honey
2tbsp cocoa powder, plus extra, to coat
2tsp whiskey,  or to taste

  1. Process the CHOCO LEIBNIZ in a food processor until they reach the fine crumb stage.
  2. Remove the biscuits from the food processor and replace with the nuts. Pulse until roughly chopped.
  3. Melt the butter and honey in a pan. Add the cocoa powder to the pan and remove from the heat immediately.
  4. Place the mixture in a clean bowl.
  5. Add the processed CHOCO LEIBNIZ and nuts to the bowl and mix to the consistency of a semi-solid dough. Add the whiskey and mix again. If you are still struggling to bring the ingredients together, add a little milk or single cream to loosen, or icing sugar to thicken.
  6. Take a shallow plate or bowl and tip some cocoa powder into it.
  7. As quickly as you can, roll out small balls from the dough in your hands, then roll them in the cocoa powder. Arrange the finished truffles on baking parchment on a plate, and refrigerate until ready to eat.
