cherry Chocolate

Choco Leibniz Cherry Chocolate Biscuit Cake

Serves 10 – 15 Minutes Preparation – 5 Minutes Cooking – 1 Hour Refrigeration


150g salted butter
150g good quality dark chocolate, broken into even pieces
2tbsp golden syrup
250g dried sour cherries, roughly chopped
75g unskinned almonds, roughly chopped
50g pistachio nuts, roughly chopped
450g CHOCO LEIBNIZ Dark biscuits, roughly crushed
Cocoa powder, to dust


  1. Put the butter, chocolate and syrup in a pan and melt over a low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat. 
  2. Add the cherries, nuts and CHOCO LEIBNEZ biscuits to the chocolate mixture and stir really well.
  3. Spoon into a greased brownie tin and press down. Leaveto cool completely at room temperature, then put in thefridge to set for at least one hour.
  4. To serve, remove from the tin, dust with cocoa powder and slice into fingers
